Great Barrier Island

Great Barrier Island - 'a world of its own'. This
unique and beautiful island lies 30 miles off the NZ coast just north of
Auckland and is famous for its largely undisturbed beauty.
From white, sandy beaches to sheltered
bays and steep forest covered hills to mangrove estuaries the Barrier has a
diverse landscape. There is a variety of walking tracks
from the short walk to visit a waterfall or some hot springs to the
longer walk taking you to the highest most point of the island, Mt
Hirakimata (Mt Hobson).
Take a trip back in time to when roads
were unsealed and drivers acknowledged one another. There are no
banks, no buses, no traffic lights and just a few shops. Water is
mainly what comes from the sky and power is generated by generator
and/or alternative power systems.

Hibiscus Coast

The Hibiscus Coast is the 'Gold Coast' of the
Auckland area. Orewa beach and Waiwera are seaside
resort villages looking across to the beautiful
Hauraki Gulf. Close to restaurants, shops and all amenities and only 30 minutes north from downtown Auckland.
Waiwera Thermal Spa is
surrounded by native bush and coastal beach walks. The sparkling clean
thermal mineral waters of Waiwera are set in their own lovely valley,
adjacent to a white sandy beach.
